About the authors
Teresa Orange and Louise O'Flynn are two communications professionals, who between them have five young children.
Teresa Orange has had a successful career in advertising and market research. She is an industry spokeperson on advertising and marketing to children, and has worked with brands such as Hasbro, Mattell, Disney, Kraft and Kellogg's. She is an expert qualitive researcher with an in-depth understanding of childhood development, childhood emotions and the relationship children have with brands and advertising.
Louise O'Flynn is a communications professional who has had over 20 years' experience working with the national media. She currently works as a freelance writer and media consultant. Among other subjects, she has researched and written a number of publications on children and the use of mobile phones. Previously, she was Director of Public Affairs at Camelot, where she was in charge of the successful communications campaign for the second lottery licence.
